Hi brendan. Your ex girlfriend sister told me about your sculptures. As I am a beginner in stonecarving I love seeing what other people are doing. Your images look great. I personally prefer the relief carving best, an ibis is it? .I have not the strength to work very big but would like to sometime try to make some Celtic knotwork or viking patterns. Hi Anne, sorry for such a delay, thanks for your comment. A simple celtic knot is really quite simple. There stages, after the drawing, cut the negative area out to a depth of 5mm, cut away the out line also from design. Where lines intersect or overlap drop that area down carefully from the line. Try a simple triangular knot to start. Also Patrice on a cross knot just two lines overlapping to get an idea.
